Former UFC Flightweight Champion Alexa Grasso has a long task for her in her first fight since losing the belt.
Alexa Grasso is located in a special place in the title photo of the UFC Flyweight Division. After a loss of trilogy against Valentina Shevchenko on UFC 306, Grasso returned to the role of title candidate and is said to be confronted with a flying weight on one of the best runs in the division.
Grasso filled an earlier undefeated run in the UFC Flyweight Division with a submission victory in the fourth round on Shevchenko on UFC 285. She gathered from an early hole to tap Shevchenko with a face crank to bring the long title from the star to A Screeching Halt.
Grasso and Shevchenko fought in a split trek in their Rematch in September 2023. After coaching against each other on the ultimate hunter, Grasso and Shevchenko fought in an immediate trilogy on UFC 306, with Shevchenko with a unanimous decision victory.
After her three consecutive fights with Shevchenko, Grasso will be a new challenge for the first time since 2022.

Alexa Grasso to be confronted in a rising competition on a 12-Fight-winning series
As reported by Sportnet, a flying weight for women between Grasso and UFC-Unbeaten Natália Silva has been booked for the return of the promotion to Canada for UFC 315 in Montreal. Grasso vs. Silva contributes to a building map on 10 May, which from this writing must still have a main event with the name/booked.
This will easily be the most difficult test of Silva's career in the midst of a 12-fog winning series in her career. Silva is 6-0 in the UFC Octagon with recent victories over Andrea Lee, Viviane Araujo and former current champion Jessica Andrade.
Silva was not lacking after her most recent victory over Andrade. Although her callout from Maycee Barber did not led to a fighting booking, she encouraged the matchmakers to 'send that belt' in a nod to the best contenders of the division.
Alexa Grasso's Return comes as UFC -Overden Potential Flying Weight Superfight
The winner of Grasso vs. Silva may be the following for a flying weight of title shot. But the potential of UFC Strawweight Zhang Weili is going on a division to cope with Shevchenko complicates the flight weight -title photo.
UFC CEO Dana White admitted after the UFC 312 of Weili that he 'loved' the idea of booking Shevchenko vs. Weili. But Manon Fiorot is perhaps the most deserving of the next title shot after recent victories over Rose Namajunas, Erin Blanchfield and Jennifer Maia.
Weili defeated unbeaten stream weight Tatiana Suarez earlier this month in the UFC 312 Co-Main event. After Suarez there are not much top current weight contenders who make a strong thing for a title shot.
As Shevchenko vs. Weili is the next targeted flight weight of the UFC, the Grasso vs. Silva winner making a strong business for a title shot. In the meantime, Grasso vs. promises. Silva fireworks between two of the most dynamic strikers in MMA for women.
