Trent Alexander-Arnold was booed by Liverpool fans after he had hit Arsenal.
The defender confirmed this week that he will leave the club of the season after the expiry of his contract.
Alexander-Arnold was fueled in the 66th minute when Arne Slot decided to let some important players rest.
But his introduction was confronted with a wave of anger of the Anfield -Mixte.
There were also cries to support the player he replaced, with fans sang: “There is only one Conor Bradley!”
Alexander-Arnold covered his mouth when he entered the playing field, and the choir of angry crashed every time the right back touched the ball through the stadium.
To make matters worse, Alexander-Arnold made a mistake shortly after he came up and played Mikel Merino as the Arsenal star went to an equalizer after Martin Odegaard had hit the post.
After the anger began, Gary Neville noted: “That's not pleasant for him.”
Alexander-Arnold, 26, said goodbye to fans this week in an emotional farewell video.
He seems to have been set up to join Real Madrid to a free transfer – a movement that has made many copies furious.
The English star is even banned from two locations in Liverpool – curries and popworld.
Real Madrid has officially started negotiations to sign Alexander-Arnold on time for the club World Cup and offered Liverpool £ 1 million to have him leave early.
Liverpool could play hardball and ask for another £ 500,000, even though he has to pay the defender £ 180,000 a week until his deal ends.
Liverpool -legend Jamie Carragher has insisted that the anger to his exit is “justified”.
He said: “Liverpool is winning more Premier League and Champions League titles.
“Everything that undermines a threat.
“You may not agree with it, or believe that the competitive attitude towards the loss of a star player is justified, but it is what makes Liverpool the successful club it is, and it is no different than what you would expect at Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona or Manchester United.
“By leaving Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold makes it more difficult for his own club to win his 21st league title and seventh European Cup.
“That will certainly stir emotions.”
