The striker remains in exile and a resolution can finally be achieved in the last week of the transfer window.
Newcastle expects a second bid in Liverpool on Alexander Isak before the transfer window closes on 1 September.
The two teams are standing tonight in what a fiery atmosphere will be in St James' Park, but Isak continues to be banned by his current club because he remains desperate to become a member of the Premier League Giants.
Liverpool has not made a bid for Isak since he has seen an opening offer worth £ 110 million on 1 August. More than three weeks later, another is considered threatening.
The I Paper report that Liverpool has been set to make a second bid on Isak as soon as the fireworks of the Premier League collision are out of the way.
Other reports claim that bid could come on Tuesday 26 August.
The i -paper adds that the Saudi Arab owners of Newcastle remain steadfast in their position: Isak will not be sold unless his appreciation is reached. That figure has long been considered £ 150 million, but the report claims that that figure could be even higher with the striker who has been left for three years to walk on his contract.
Newcastle also still needs a replacement. They have passed a miserable summer so far, rejected by Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Bryan Mbeumo, Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sesko.
They have also seen two bids for Yoane Wissa, the most recent in total £ 40 million. Just like Isak, Wissa remains non -free that he has an informal agreement with Brentford with which he could leave this summer and would like to become a member of Newcastle.
The bees demanded £ 50 million to sell Wissa, Newcastle offered £ 35 million and then £ 40 million. Both bids were rejected and now Brentford has increased their asking price.
While the transfer window starts the last week, a lot still needs to be arranged.
