Jose Aldo called it a day on his legendary career on UFC 315 on Saturday, but his fight ended rather controversial.
On UFC 315 on Saturday, the former UFC-Fedweight champion, Jose Aldo, took on the protege of Georges St-Pierre, Aiemann Zahabi.
In anticipation of their planned Bantamweight conflict, Aldo caused the controversy when he informed the UFC that he could not only make 135 pounds a few hours before his weighting, so that the fight was changed to a featherweight fight.
After his weight miss, Aldo announced that he was making progress, he would return to 145 pounds for the rest of his career.
Nevertheless, after a controversial defeat against the Canadian Bantam weight, the Brazilian announced his shock to retire from sport.

Alexander Volkanovski ask scorecards from Aldo's pension fight
Despite losing through a decision, the score cards were questioned by not only the fans, but also by UFC legend, Rafael Dos Anjos.
'The King of Rio' lost round three in all three score cards of the jury members, even though he won Zahabi twice in the round with a brutal knee and subsequent main kick.
And now the score cards have been questioned by UFC Vederweight Champion, Alexander Volkanovski, who believes that Aldo was difficult to do.
Volkanovski shared the cage with the Brazilian legend in 2019 when he won a unanimous decision, one that was certainly clearer than last Saturday.
“I want to talk about the Aldo fight, of course, fairly honestly, I get it, but when you are talking about damage, I know that he became very tired in that third round,” Volkanovski began to explain in a video on his YouTube channel.
“Aldo won round one, but they gave the other two to his opponent. The second, again, very close … I want to talk about the third round. It was almost Aldo almost the whole road throughout that round.
“In the middle of it, he hurt his opponent and when we have damage, it becomes no more harmful than that. He fluctuated him, dropped him and dropped him (again) with a crazy kick, the right football shovel against the head … His opponent dominated the last bit but that is enough when you lose most of the round and you were well defeated,
Jose Aldo will retire as the largest featherweight of all time
The 38-year-old pension will probably come into his career at the right time after he has lost his last two fights and retires before he affected his incredible legacy.
Although Volkanovski is still active and shows that he has the potential to catch up with Aldo as the biggest 145 -lber of all time, Aldo's Legacy is still standing, making the timing of his retirement perfect.
