Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria are coming for the first time since their UFC 298 title Headliner.
Featherweight Rivals Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria will come face to face and play an important role this weekend in a UFC 312 Undercard-Bout filled in Australia this weekend.
Volkanovski and Topuria may be able to rematch their next fighting later this year. UFC Middenweight Bo Nickal claimed Volkanovski and the Rematch of Topuria will head lines in April, but from this letter there is no validity behind those claims.
While rumors continue to swirl behind a potential rematch, his Volkanovsky and Topuria this weekend both in Sydney, Australia for UFC 312. Ilia's brother, Aleksandre, will make his UFC debut on the UFC 312 Undercard against one of the closest teammates of Volkanovski.
Aleksandre Topuria vs. Colby Dicknesse will be Volkanovski and Ilia in the corners of every hunter. It is an intriguing perspective for one of the most brightly bricked undercard fights on UFC 312, especially with the hype around the debut of Aleksandre.

Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria booked for Cornbering Battle on UFC 312
During episode 1 of the UFC 312: Embedded Series, Volkanovski responded for the first time since their featherweight title conflict with Topuria in the Octuria in the Octuria.

Topuria ended Volkanovski's UFC Vederweight Title rule by spending him last year on UFC 298. For the first time in his UFC career, Volanovski returns to back-to-back losses prior to his expected return to the Octagon later this year.
Potential Alexander Volkanovski vs. Ilia Topuria Rematch has several obstacles
The potential switch from Topuria to lightweight complicates Volkanovski -Rematch interviews. UFC CEO Dana White recently hinted in planning 'Something Special' for lightweight holder Islam Makhakev's next fight, that speculation of a vs. champion. Champion Clash with Topuria increases.
Volkanovski was briefly connected to a potential fight with Diego Lopes on UFC 312 for an interim title, but the fight never flourished. White and the UFC matchmakers, from this letter, have not clarified their plans for Volkanovsky and Topuria's return.
The CV of Volkanovski demonstrably justifies a rematch with Topuria, but it is uncertain whether it will happen for both parties. In the meantime, they will again fight in new roles on UFC 312, in an intriguing reunion of the two top featherweights.
