
Alexander Volkanovski jumped on a video call with his family after the fight on UFC 314.
'The Great' survived a knock-down to open Diego Lopes in five rounds and became a double UFC Vederweight champion in the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida on Saturday evening.
Fight fans immediately started talking about what the next step is for Alexander Volkanovski, who worried some people by claiming that he could be ready to return to the Octagon in July against Movsar Evloev or another top 145 pounds candidate.
For a few days, at least, the man who believes many is that the featherweight goat wants to enjoy celebrating his latest MMA performance with his pregnant wife and their three daughters.

Alexander Volkanovski Details after the fight phone call
Volkanovski sat down with the UFC for a backstage interview shortly after winning his belt.
The 36-year-old described a recent facetime call with his family, which became emotional when his youngest child had a heartbreaking reaction to seeing her father when he had gone for 25 minutes with Diego Lopes.
“I just had the family calling me, which was cool,” said Volkanovski.
“They all had to see me bloody. Reign, my little one, she is only 19 months old [old]She looks at me as: 'Dad! Dad! And then she is closer and she just starts to commit her eyes because she could see my face.
“I didn't think she would understand what this is, but she knew I looked different.
“So that was a cool moment, but I think I just want to grab my phone and detect it well.”

In another interview, Volkanovski experienced the frightening moment that he was blinded at UFC 314.
The favorite of the Aussie fan told Fox Sports that his left eye stopped working after he fell into round two.
“I completely lost the vision in my left eye,” said Volkanoski.
“It was a good shot, and then I couldn't see it. I tried to get it back, and it was completely gone, came back slowly and most of the fight could see at least a little blur, he helped.
“It went from nothing, so I 'oh s -, this is not good', to a little blur. That brought me a little better to understand the distance, and then it came back a bit to the end.
'I couldn't tell you [which shot caused it]. “
