The goalkeeper suffered a serious knock during an air duel.
Alisson jumped to make the ball clear before bumping into the former Tottenham star Davinson Sanchez, who was for Colombia.
Both players hit the deck after the brutal meeting and received medical treatment.
Alisson was removed with a suspected concussion according to the doctor Rodrigo Lasmar of Brazil after he felt dizzy and experienced earache.
Lasmar offered an update and said: “[Alisson] Becker suffered a trauma on the main area, he was replaced by a suspected concussion.
“Now we will do all the CBF protocol, it will be recommended imaging tests, a computer tomography and then undergo a resonance with diffusion.
“If all tests are normal, we will follow and perform a cognitive test. And then we will evaluate the player.
