All 44 players to win a trophy since leaving Tottenham as Trippier picks up second… but still none for Harry Kane

It is 17 years ago that Tottenham got hold of silverware.

And while serial winners Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho are unable to end the drought, a terrible trend has emerged from players who leave traces and win trophies elsewhere.

Kieran Trippier picked up his second since he continued by helping Newcastle to Carabao Cup Glory on Sunday.

The “curse” will remain on Harry Kane for the time being, but no fewer than 44 others have removed the “Spursy” Jibe.

To make this list, a player must have gone trophy -free at Spurs and have lifted a cup since the last time the club did in 2008.

Winning something during the loan does not count (Sorry, Bryan Gil) and neither international trophies (Sorry, Giovani Lo Celso).

Only have competition titles, large domestic cups and continental competitions – because it is only fair to ignore the win of Spurs for the season in 2019.

Luka Modric

Lifted four Laliga titles and six champion competitions on Real Madrid.

Kyle Walker

Treble -winner in Manchester City with six Prem Crowns to his name.
