A UFC legend wants to see Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria fall back after UFC 314.
UFC 314 took place on Saturday evening with Ilia Topuria's vacant featherweight title for grabbing in the main event between former champion Alexander Volkanovski and top candidate Diego Lopes.
Topuria issued the title earlier this year for a switch to lightweight, as a result of which his rival Volkanovski takes the throne in his place with a heavily fought unanimous decision victory over Lopes.
Volkanovski took 14 months off after KO losing in title fights against Islam Makhachev and Topuria, the veteran who looks much more sustainable and tactical in his return, despite the loss of vision in his left eye.

Demtrious Johnson says that Alexander Volkanovski vs. Ilia Topuria 2 'could be different'
On the way to his second title line, Volkanovski's contenders who are waiting for him in the featherweight division have none of that are Ilia Topuria, who has packed and left to 155 pounds.
While others have passed from the Topuria rematch, it is still a fight former UFC Flyweight Champion and one of the greatest hunters of all time wants to see Demetrious Johnson, absolutely split about how things are going the second time.
“I want to see this version of Alex Volkanovski fighting Ilia Topuria,” said Johnson on his YouTube channel.
“Because I think the fight can be different …
“Will Ilia Topuria find that brand?” Johnson asked.
“That's the fight I really want to see.”

When Ilia Topuria fought against Alexander Volkanovski against UFC 298, Volkanovski came from a head kick ko loss to pound-for-Pond King-Islam Makhachetev four months earlier at UFC 294.
Volkanovski was transmitted into strikes before he was finally eliminated in the second round of their title fight. This was the only loss of Volkanovski in featherweight in 19 performances.
Some experts believe that the KO loss for Topuria was a by -product of Islam Makhachev fight, while others believe that the result was inevitable in view of the power and unique skills of Topuria.
