Declan Rice was praised after his husband of the match performance against Real Madrid.
Rice set a brilliant representation in the second stage of Arsenal's League League quarterfinals against Real on Wednesday, where the Gunners won 2-1 at night to continue to the last four thanks to a 5-1 total victory.
It came after Rice also picked up the man of the game in the 3-0 first leg win from his side last week when he scored two stunning free kicks.
The international of England was everywhere in the Bernabeu and helped to ensure that Real never threatened a comeback in the draw while the Gunners drove through it.
His stunning performance generated traction and towards the end of the collision, Rio Ferdinand rice and the qualities he had shown.
“You need games like this in your career,” said Ferdinand, referring to the 26-year-old on comments during the reporting of TNT Sports.
'You have to go to such places to be assessed. And Declan Rice has been asked the questions against the holders of this match. Can you compete at this level?
“He doesn't compete, he has run the show about two games … He has really put himself in a different bracket.”
Ally McCoist agreed and could not quite happen to what he had seen from the midfielder over both legs of the draw.
“Declan Rice … he was monumental,” said McCoist. “He was the best player about the two games in a certain rack.
“The two goals he scored last week were downright, absolutely shameful set games, but the level of his performance tonight was quite beautiful.”
The praise continued to fly in from all corners, with man City star Jack Grealish, a teammate of England and good friend of Rice, who also showed his appreciation.
Grealisk added a photo of a photo of Rice who is interviewed on TV on TV and added Grealisk: “What a Player Man.”
Elsewhere, Gunners said Mikel Arteta: 'I think he was huge tonight. He turned the game around the moment the game was 50/50.
“He got the ball, he turned the game. I think he was huge today. He made a difference in the draw. '
In the meantime, after the game, Rice expressed his joy about what Arsenal had achieved by reaching the semi -final of the Champions League.
He said: 'It's just such a special evening for this club. It is a historic evening for this club. We have an objective in this competition, we want to play the best teams and we want to win the competition.
“There was a lot of talk about this that they came back because they did it so often, but we had so much faith and confidence from that first leg that we had enough to get here and win the game.
“We knew we would suffer, but we knew we would win. We had it in our head and then we did it in real life. What a night for the club. '
Rice also went over the current position where Arsenal is located and revealed his excitement about what he believes he is in front of the club.
“It's huge (reaching the semi -final),” he added. 'I felt it before I signed that we were on an upward route as a club. I felt it, the players we have, the direction in which we want to go.
'It was tough in the Premier League because we lost at a point last year and this year we have slipped away. But in this competition we did incredibly well.
'This club will do special things in the coming years. We all believe it completely, we have full trust in this manager. He is incredible.
'We've come through young players like him [Lewis-Skelly]Ethan [Nwaneri] Who really want it too. We have a real mix and as you said, semi -final, it's huge for us.
'We just want to take with us tonight and want to take it one step at the same time. PSG next to be a great team. '
The last four collision of Arsenal against PSG takes place on 29/30 April and 6/7 May, with the final date that is yet to be confirmed.
The two teams met in the group stage when the Gunners became comfortable 2-0 winners, although PSG has since improved dramatically and both Liverpool and Aston Villa switched off during their run to the semi-final.
Arteta's side returns to action on Sunday when they travel to Ipswich before they organize Crystal Palace next Wednesday.
