What a week it has been for the MMA 'goat' Amanda Nunes for women.
On Thursday, retired double champion Amanda Nunes essentially confirmed her comeback at the UFC 316 press conference when Julianna Pena and Kayla Harrison took the stage, two ladies with whom she has history.
Before Nunes put down the gloves in 2023, Nunes put the conversation 'Greatest All Time' to bed with Ko's from All Time Greats Ronda Rousey and Cris Cyborg, where Valentina Shevchenko and every UFC champion were beaten 135 pounds and higher.
Prior to her return, which could come later this year, Nunes was honored with the greatest award that the best promotion could give her.

What for Amanda Nunes?
Almost two years after retirement life, Amanda Nunes tries to recapture her title months from her 37th birthday.
Given her resume, it will more than probably Nunes get an immediate title fight, but she will have to wait a little longer for the winner of Julianna Pena vs. Kayla Harrison.
The Bantamweight title of the ladies is at stake in Newark, New Jersey on UFC 316 on 7 June with Pena where rival Nunes once stood.
Pena is one of the five women who won the former champion and make Nunes Van Streek through the entry into their first title fight in 2021.
Nunes defeated Pena in the Rematch and won each round at UFC 277 in 2022.
A former product of the American top team, Amanda Nunes for a long time with Kayla Harrison before left her home gymnastics years ago.
The UFC champion and PFL/Olympic champion still have to cross paths in pro -competitions.
