Amanda Nunes will keep an eye on the UFC 316 Co-Main event on Saturday.
Before Merab Dvalishvili defends his title against Sean O'Malley in the upcoming pay-per-view headliner, the Bantam weight of the women is at stake.
Seven months after the return of Julianna Pena to the UFC throne, the champion will fight against Kayla Harrison, who wants to further expand her second reign over the length of her first division rule.
Waiting in the wings will apparently be 'the lioness'. Nunes is planning to retire to face the UFC 316 winner, and she sees a woman who has the lead in Newark.
Amanda Nunes explains to choose Kayla Harrison to deduct Julianna Pena
Nunes will be present at UFC 316 while her comeback opponent has been established, and she recently offered her prediction for the Co-Headliner of 7 June.
While speaking to the New York Post, the Brazilian legend took out why she sees Harrison's victory coming up from a close and competitive game.
“I think it is going to be a decision,” said Nunes. “I feel like three rounds Kayla, two Julianna.
“Late later, Julianna can stand out. I see Kayla doing what she wants to do; Takedowns, use the cage, throws judo, with the help of her journeys. I also know that Julianna has a very high survival (instincts). I feel that Kayla does not have enough ground and pound to beat Julianne on the floor.
“Julianna also has a very good Jiu-Jitsu defense,” Nunes continued. “She doesn't stop. I feel that she will let Kayla work a lot. She keeps coming.
“I feel it can go in all directions. But I think a decision [for] Kayla. I feel that Kayla will also use her stairs. She knows that Julianna has weak legs. … it's going to be good. I am interested. “
Amanda Nunes has history with both Julianna Pena and Kayla Harrison
Nunes is well placed to give her analysis and choice for the UFC 316 Co-Main event, given its history at both champion and challenger.
'The Lioness' has imposed twice in the Octagon against 'The Venezolan Vixen'. After he had been upset in their first fight, Nunes Pena dominated on UFC 277 in 2022 to demand her revenge.
The couple was originally planned for a trilogy fight on UFC 289 the following year, but Pena withdrew due to a riblesel and was replaced by Irene Aldana.

When it comes to Harrison, Nunes is a former teammate of the double Olympic champion. The couple shared the mats with the American top team before the presence of Harrison as a potential future opponent resulted in leaving nuns.
Regardless of the result in Newark on Saturday, Nunes has prepared an intriguing storyline for her MMA Fenceback.
