Ruben Amorim has admitted his Man United side succumbed to pressure against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils were aiming for back-to-back wins in the Premier League after losing 2-1 to rivals Man City in the derby last week, but suffered a humiliating defeat at Old Trafford.
Goals from Dean Huijsen, Justin Kluivert and Antoine Semenyo secured a convincing 3-0 win for Bournemouth.
Amorim hinted that the worst is yet to come as he argued after the match that his side 'will have to suffer again'.
'This match was tough for us. “We were again struggling with set pieces and we were a bit nervous, I felt that in the stadium,” he told Sky Sports.
'The penalty and another goal are very tough here. We tried to score some goals, but it was a difficult match, so let's move on.
'If you look at the match, we didn't concede anything before the first goal, we had chances. If we manage to score the first goal, the match should be different. We want to score, but we are too nervous. We have to fight this.
'After the penalty we have to control the game better because we know this situation is very difficult. We need to manage this moment better.
'We have to concentrate on the work and not on what you feel in the stadium. It's the only way I can concentrate my players.
'We have to suffer again, but we will try to win. We will do it until the end.'
After Sunday's defeat, United conceded three goals on home field in the Premier League for the fourth time this season.
Amorim's men are in thirteenth place, nine points behind fourth-placed Nottingham Forest, who occupy the final Champions League qualifying spot.
They travel to relegation battlers Wolves on Boxing Day in the hope of turning around their tumultuous form.
