Chelsea has agreed a deal to sign the sporty CP star Geovany Quenda and beat Manchester United to the signature of the young person.
The blues have continued their philosophy to sign the world's best young talent, and the 17-year-old will stay in Portugal until July 2026 when he can move. The West London side will see the arrivals of superstars Kendry Paez and Estevao Willian of Independente Valle and Palmeiras respectively in the coming summer, in which the duo became 18, signed earlier on comparable advanced deals.
Quenda will come to the club until 2033 for a seven -year -old deal, with the possibility to expand the contract with another year. The International Under-21 International has already completed a medical.
The transfer sees Chelsea overcome interest from Premier League -Rivalen United, despite the fact that Quenda has already played under Ruben Amorim. The blues have granted compensation between £ 37.8 million and £ 41.9 million per athletics, a figure in the region of what the Red Devils were willing to pay when they explored a deal earlier this year.
Quenda has already made 43 performances this season, including 10 in the Champions League, where both after all the outings had begun. The teenager delivered two goals and eight assists from the right flank in his breakout season after he has handed over his debut of Amorim.
During exercise, United's Baas made his admiration clear for the capacities of the teenager and called him a “very talented child”. The 40-year-old added: “[He’s] Very physically robust, very focused, with his feet firmly on the floor. That is very important for a young player.
“He got his chance and there was no chance to take it away, no doubt nothing. I think he will be a great player, but let's give it time. “
Quenda has also attracted the attention of his countrymen who are still playing. Manchester City Ace Bernardo Silva believes that Portugal may have found his successor.
He said earlier: 'He will probably steal my place. At the age of 17 I did not even play for Benfica's youth team. “
In October, Quenda was 17-year-old, five months and 27 days of Quenda, after scoring against Famalicão. The young star surpassed the will of Cristiano Ronaldo, because he also claimed another of the superstar sights by becoming the youngest player in the history of the club to get to Benfica in the Lisbon derby.
