
Ruben Amorim has revealed that the 'scars' of Manchester United players are too deep to improve the situation in the club in the future.
The Red Devils tolerate one of the worst campaigns in their history, with the club in 15th place in the Premier League, with only 33 points.
United is currently 16 points above the city of Ipswich, which are placed in the relegation zone, and 37 behind the League leaders, Liverpool.
Ruben Amorim's side was beaten from both the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup after their defeats by Fulham and Tottenham respectively.
In addition, in an interview with Sky Sports on Sunday, the Portuguese gave the challenge to turn things around in Old Trafford after several disappointing months among the new manager.
“To tell you the truth, I feel that there are sometimes scars in our team, in our players,” said the 40-year-old specialist.
