Amorim insists he DOES have a plan to fix Man United and admits embarrassment

Ruben Amorim says he knows how to repair Manchester United, and that helps him to cope with the alarming Premier League Malaise of the club.

Despite the leading of United to the Europa League final, Amorim admitted that he could go aside next season if the domestic problems of the club continue after Sunday's defeat through West Ham, saw his side to 16th place in the table.

However, Amorim claims that he has told the board how he is planning to tackle the problems this summer as United to prepare for a new rebuilding.

“I talk to the board, with everyone and even with the fans at any time,” he said. “I have a clear feeling that I know what this team should be so much better, and that helped me to keep that level of not so much and not so high in some moments.”

Amorim doubled his comments after the West Ham competition and admitted that the Premier League form of United is 'embarrassing' and 'unacceptable'.

“It's hard to find another word. I am really ashamed that we won six in 25 games, “he added. 'There is something wrong in the way we play football, and sometimes it's not about the way we play tactically and technically.

'It is the way we are confronted with competition and the way we suffer and the way we get angry because we lose, and the way we protect the goal. These things that we have to improve, and sometimes it's not just within the field, it's outside the field.

'That feeling that I am talking to the end, the way we are confronted with competition. It's not okay to lose, it's not okay to draw.

'It doesn't matter if we can change our position in the competition or not – that feeling is nothing about trust. It's about the faith and concept that we are Manchester United, and we don't want to be the worst in the competition.

“Our position is unacceptable and for me that is no lack of trust, that is a lack of something in -depth.”
