Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim was particularly impressed by one player after Thursday's 2-2 draw with Lyon in the first stage of their Europa League quart final.
It was an end-to-end collision in France and both parties will feel that they could win the game.
The home team took the lead halfway through the first half when Thiago Almada's crossed free kick past Andre Onana and came to the net.
The Red Devils, however, hit back by an instinctive header from Leny Yoro before Joshua Zirkzee thought he had won the game with his own header in the 88th minute.
However, there was even more drama to come, because Lyon saved a draw in the last minute of added time with Rayan Cherki who was a different mistake by Onana at the Vaan.
While the night ended in a bitter tone for the Red Devils, Amorim certainly felt positive about the performance of one star.
“Leny Yoro … a top, top, top player,” he said in an interview after the game. “Believe me, he's really good.”
“He is really confident. He improves his physicality. We see all the work that all the staff does to him. He feels at home in our club '.
The French defender came to United from Lille in the summer, but life at Old Trafford could not start to start worse.
He crashed in the 35th minute of a pre-season-friendly against Arsenal and it was confirmed that he would be out for about three months after breaking a midfoot in his left foot.
Yoro returned in December and has been impressed by the time since then, Thursday's first goal for the club.
