Amorim reveals Dorgu plan after £29.4m signing is handed his Man United debut

Head coach Ruben Amorim of Manchester United has revealed how he is planning to illuminate new signing Patrick Dorgu in the team after handing over the January that signed his debut.

Dorgu came directly into the starting line-up of Man United after completing his £ 29.4 million relocation of Lecce last week.

The 20-year-old Danish international is expected to offer competition in the problem of the left wing position of Man United.

Before the competition, Amorim told ITV Sport that Dorgu's left foot would be useful for his side, suggested that he would use it on both flanks.

“He has to start playing. He did very well this week, “said Amorim.

'We need the left foot, we can change side for the wing players, it is important for how we see the game.

“He gets nervous in the beginning, so try to be simple, but he is talented.”

Dorgu started rolling back in the right wing for the FA Cup fourth round draw against the wrestling foxes, where Diogo Dalot continued on the left flank.

Although he was broken into in the Lecce team like a left -hand full back, Dorgu spent large parts of this season as a right wing prior to his move to Man United.

Dorgu was one of the brighter players of Man United in the first half in Old Trafford, but was picked up during the break with Amorim's side with 1-0.

Amorim had also offered his support for Kobbie Mainoo to play in a more advanced role in his side.

The International of England has seen its position in recent matches, operating as a no. 10 in a recent draw from the Europa League, before playing as a false nine against Crystal Palace last Sunday.

'Kobbie did very well in the last Europa League match. He can play with fewer responsibilities near the striker, “Amorim said.

“He is a different kind of recovery without the ball and we love his one vs one with the ball.”

Man United are the current FA Cup holders, but Amorim emphasized his ancillary need to concentrate on improving the competition through match, rather than a specific competition.

'Our priority is to improve the next game, not to concentrate on a competition. We want to win everyone, but as I said, since I started here, the goal is to win the Premier League that is the main goal, “Amorim added.

'We want to improve our versions to show an achievement for fans.

“We have to understand the game. We have understood all the details and were really focused, we have to keep it and understand that we might have to suffer a little. '
