Ruben Amorim thinks that the first team of Manchester United should accept responsibility for the financial problems that the club is confronted with.
United experiences a miserable season, sitting on the 15th in the Premier League table, as close to the relegation zone as at the top seven (13 points).
They have won only four of the 15 league games since Amorim took the lead in November, lost three signs and eight.
United has also attracted criticism in recent days after the Jim Ratcliffe regime has announced a “transformation plan” for the club, with a new round of dismissals with which a maximum of 200 employees lose their jobs.
The Red Devils registered a net loss of £ 113 million in their last set of accounts and have lost more than £ 300 million in the last three years.
Those figures have also led to talking about Academy Products Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho that are sold to avert a possible violation of the Premier League profit and sustainability rules.
For Wednesday's home game against Ipswich Town, Amorim said that the first team – as the “engine of the club” – is primarily responsible for those issues.
“We have to tackle all the problems in the club, but an important piece of the moment is to understand how we achieve this situation,” Amorim said.
“It has a lot to do with the lack of success of the football team because we are the engine of every football club.”

Amorim appreciates the newest round of the cost -saving measures of United, will do nothing to eliminate the feeling of gloom that Old Trafford floods.
“We know that this year was really difficult for everyone,” Amorim continued. “As a club we have made many changes.
“If you make the changes, if you have a football team that plays well and win games, it is easier for fans and everyone to feel that.
“But at the moment we are in the club and within the field in a difficult period. We have to fight this feeling.
“We have to do our job and we do our best to help the team perform better.”
