UFC 310 may have taken place late into the night in Las Vegas, but there was a daylight robbery on the main card as Ciryl Gane picked up a decision victory over Alexander Volkov.
The towering Russian dominated most of the fight, but the judges controversially awarded the win to 'Bon Gamin' – as UFC fans begin to do their post-mortem, Alexander Volkov himself has walked out came to declare that one judge specifically should be requalified or let go.

Alexander Volkov calls on UFC 310 judge to be 'f***** fired' after robbery
Normally it's only the winners who get the chance to speak to the media after a UFC event, but Alexander Volkov wasn't about to go quietly into the night after being robbed of a win at UFC 310.
“Hello everyone, I just want to say first that it was certainly a great decision,” the frustrated heavyweight stated, while acknowledging that “I don't know what we're going to do with the decision, I'm absolutely certain I'll take the fight I won.”
Almost every UFC fan who watched his fight with Ciryl Gane scored the fight for the Russian, with 'Verdict MMA' tweeting that the result was “officially the worst decision of 2024” with a huge score difference of 1.04.
“How can the guy who was less active and comes out with more damage win, I don't understand this,” Volkov continued, with much of the criticism specifically directed at judge Adalaide Byrd, who had the fight 29-28 against the Frenchman.
“Is this the same judge who judges boxing and MMA? I don't understand, this state is the fight capital of the world, I don't know what to say… How is it possible that the same person can judge two different types of sports?
Joe Rogan on Boxing/MMA Judge Adalaide Byrd:
“She's a very nice person… So is my mother, and I wouldn't want her to argue.”

“I don't understand how a person who is not professionally trained in this sport cannot be requalified to judge this sport, or simply cannot be fired.”
Byrd already has a reputation for questionable scorecards, having famously stepped away from judging professional boxing after receiving criticism for scoring Canelo Alvarez against GGG, 118-110 for the Mexican.
“I don't know if she's working on her [judging] skills, or she just comes to watch the fights every now and then because she likes it and give victory wherever she wants… Maybe she liked Ciryl Gane's body more.
“It's the same as in our sport: if you're not professionally fit to fight in the UFC, there's a good chance you'll be fired – and it should be the same for everyone, if you can't do that professionally. it's your job, you shouldn't do it.”
Volkov does have the option to appeal the decision to the NSAC; However, these appeals are rarely successful and are often more of a headache for the injured party than a legitimate course of action.
“We will definitely do this [appeal]but I don't believe it will work… If they accept this judge who created this scorecard, they will just fire her and then the decision could change.
Volkov also revealed what Dana White told him after the results were announced, with the UFC cameras catching the CEO railing against the Russian next to the octagon.
