Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti says that the Laliga title of Barcelona was well deserved because Hansi Flick's side played the game with consistency and beauty.
Madrid's victory over Mallorca on Wednesday postponed the title celebrations for only one day, while Barcelona completed a 28th Laliga-triumph on Thursday by beating Espanyol 2-0.
It leaves Madrid seven points on drift from their Clasico rivals, with only six left to play for.
The Liga victory completed a domestic treble for Barca, who also defeated Madrid in the Copa del Rey and Supercopa the Espana Finals. After he has also been beaten out of the Champions League, Los Blancos only has the Club World Cup to fight this year in terms of silverware.
“This is part of football, sometimes you can't get the best out of everyone,” Ancelotti told reporters prior to Madrid's trip to Sevilla on Sunday.
“Barcelona did very well because they have been more consistent in the competition and played very nice football.
“I congratulate them. They deserved to win this competition. Next year will be a different story.”
Madrid was defeated by Barcelona in all four meetings in all matches in a season in which the Blaugrana scored an amazing 97 goals in 36 league games, 23 more than the side of Ancelotti.

The Italian, who will leave at the end of the LaLala season to coach five-time world champions Brazil, regretted the number of injuries that had sustained his side.
“This team was able to believe even if no one believed [in us]. I will never criticize these players who have been able to give me so much joy over the years, “he said.
“There have been too many injuries and very important players … During this season this kind of injuries hurt us.”
Ancelotti noted that his last season would have been even better if Madrid had succeeded in pushing the Liga title race to the last day.
He enjoyed six mainly successful years in the Santiago Bernabeu over two stints, and let Madrid have won 15 trophies with the club in general, making him their most successful coach in terms of silverware.
“The Seville ground [Pizjuan] has always been difficult for us, our goal is to try to end the season on a high note, “Ancelotti added.
“I wanted to enjoy it in a different way, fight until the last day before the competition. That has not been [the case]But I am [still] enjoy it. And then, [I have] To prepare for another challenge. ”
Madrid has not lost any of their last 12 LaLiga matches against Seville and took four victories (D1), as often as in their previous 16 visits (W4 D1 L11).
Ancelotti has won nine of his 11 games against Sevilla in Laliga (D1 L1), and only brought two sides on more occasions in the competition – Celta de Vigo and Getafe (both 11).
