Carlo Ancelotti greeted Kylian Mbappe for his match-winning Double when Real Madrid won a Topsy-Turvy Meeting with humble Leganes with 3-2 in Laliga on Saturday.
French captain Mbappe scored the opener of the penalty spot in Santiago Bernabeu and scored the winner after the equalizer of Jude Bellingham after goals from Diego Garcia and Dani Raba Leganes in the front.
Mbappe now has 33 goals in all competitions for the club this season, equal to the cirity of Cristiano Ronaldo in his first term in Madrid.
And head coach Ancelotti is happy with his contribution to Los Blancos.
“He is doing very well. Much more active, more involved in the game,” Ancelotti said about the leader of France.
“He has adapted well and makes the difference, what is exactly what we expect from him.”

Mbappe itself was very happy to see that the work in the training area was closed against Leganes.
“It was a difficult match. After the international break it is always difficult,” Mbappe told RMTV.
“We know what we should always do: win. We started well, in the opposition half, and we scored a goal. Then we didn't play well for 20 minutes and gave two goals.
“But we know that if we play well, we will score and in the second half we have scored two goals. We won the game and we are very happy.
“We worked on (the set piece) with the staff a few weeks ago. I knew that I could shoot in this way, I saw the space. I asked the others to let me shoot and it worked well.”
Madrid is right on points with Laliga -Leiders Barcelona, but Los Cules has a game in hand over their Clasico rivals.
Ancelotti is determined that their struggle to see Leganes, who are 18th, was not due to a lack of focus.
The Italian added: “We had the intensity. We showed it in the second half and managed to turn the game around.
“You have to suffer. I don't remember a game that we have not suffered. What it is all about suffers together. When sacrifices have to be made, we make them all.
“Football matches are like that, there is no such thing as a simple game, and we are completely aware of that.”
Real host Real Sociedad in their Copa del Rey Semi-final second stage on Tuesday with a 1-0 lead before Valencia was welcomed next Saturday and then visits Arsenal in their first stage of the Champions League quart finale.
