Ancelotti responds to Dani Olmo registration decision – ‘I don’t think so’

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has told the press that he does not believe that La Liga has been forged due to the presence of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for Barcelona. The Italian manager also confirmed that he did not intend to leave Los Blancos.

Initially, Ancelotti raised a question about Olmo and Victor who were registered. The High Committee for Sport (CSD) announced yesterday that they had ruled in their dispute with La Liga in favor of Barcelona, who wanted to register Olmo and Victor. La Liga has stated that they will appeal the case, but as it looks now, both will be available until the end of the season.

“This is a question for other people, I have nothing to say about it. That's it,” he told the press. He was also asked about the lack of commotion of other clubs, after several big names such as Sevilla, Atletico Madrid and Athletic Club expressed their frustration in January.

“There is freedom of expression, if nobody wants to talk about it, they don't want to speak. No problem with me.”

“No, I don't think so,” condemned the case when he was asked if he felt that La Liga was falsified by the fact that Pau Victor and Dani Olmo will be able to play

During the week, Ancelotti gave his testimony after a trial for a case in which he is accused of cheating the tax office of just over € 1 million. The persecution has requested a prison sentence of four years and nine months in prison, but Ancelotti has defended his innocence.

“It was a new experience. Nothing more, it happened, now we have to wait for the sentence of the judge.”

After he had repeated that Real Madrid should dismiss him or would not have to extend his contract to let him leave, Ancelotti was asked what role their 4-0 and 5-2 defeats would play for Barcelona earlier in the season in their motivation for the upcoming Copa del Rey-final.

“I think I can postpone this question at the press conference before the competition. If you are in Seville, I will answer that question. What I can say now is that we are very happy to reach the final and be close to another goal.”

Los Blancos is facing Valencia this Saturday in the Santiago Bernabeu, before he travels to London to get Arsenal in the first stage of their quarter -finals of the Champions League. Real Madrid has been far from flawless in recent weeks, but has continued to find a way to achieve various difficult challenges.
