Anderson Silva’s son scores vicious stoppage in farcical mismatch on Adin Ross boxing event

Gabriel Silva, the son of UFC legend Anderson Silva, showed his newest opponent as an amateur.

Instead of taking the MMA route such as his father, the former UFC Middenweight Champion, the 27-year-old decided to compete with his own way in the boxing ring, both against hunters and influencers.

Silva's fought three times under the Misfits Boxing Banner, his last fight a TKO loss for the former Bellator star Anthony “Pretty Boy” Taylor in August. Taylor would fight against ex-PUC star Darren until not long afterwards.

The Brazilian bounced back this weekend during the popular streamer Adin Ross' 'Brandrisk 5' boxing event on Saturday. There he would cross paths with 'USA Saiyan' Brendan Kelly – although it wasn't really a fight.

Gabriel Silva scores two knockdowns in one round

It was more than anything with Silva's skills and experience that prevailed above a stunning Saiyan.

Silva countered Saiyan with a beautiful uppercut and a follow-up right hand to put it down in the second round.

On wobbly legs, Saiyan returns with the referee with precautions to see if he could continue. This was the beginning to the end, a short shot of Silva that sent Saiyan back to the ropes to the canvas.

The Saiyan team stopped the game and saved him from further damage and Silva was announced by TKO in one of his strangest fights so far.

What is the next step for the son of 'The Spider'?

Before he lost to Anthony Taylor last year, Gabriel Silva put back-to-back victories together in Misfits Boxing against multisport commentator Ben 'The Bane' Davis and OJ Rose.

After his victory on Saturday, Silva spoke about what is on this point of his career on the Horizon.

“There are many options on the table,” Silva said about his next fight in an interview with Fred Talks Fighting.

'I wanted to fight the last time, I was very pissed off [Misfits] Because I only fought once a year …

“I am now at the start of my career and I want to stay active, so I will fight against everyone, every weight, always.

“Well, no weight,” Silva added. “But I go up and weight class goes down, it doesn't matter.

“Just give me fighting man. Just give me a chance. “
