Andres Iniesta drops incredible 2009 Champions League final admission

Barcelona icon Andres Iniesta has revealed an incredible secret behind the final victory of the UEFA Champions League of 2009 on Manchester United.

The victory against Sir Alex Ferguson's team in Rome was reminded for the iconic Tower -Shopy header of Lionel Messi in the Stadio Olimpico when Pep Guardiola Ferguson surpassed in two years in two years.

2009 was the second UCL-Kroon of Iniesta, after a rest replacement in the last 2006 victory over Arsenal in Paris, when Henrik Larsson inspired a comeback victory for the Frank Rijkaard team.

He started in Rome, and again in Guardiola's victory over the Red Devils in Wembley in 2011 with Messi on Target again, while Barcelona shot a message to the rest of Europe.

Iniesta won his fourth and final UCL trophy in 2015, under Luis Enrique, after he had lifted three large titles with Spain as part of his career with Trophy-Pack for Club and Land.

The former midfielder, however, shared how the first final against United could have happened very differently if he had listened to his body in the structure of the game.

“The second stage against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge will stay with me forever,” he told an exclusive interview with four four two.

“Have I ever thought about what would have happened if I hadn't scored in the 93rd minute? Never, in case that!

“My shot was instinctive because I didn't have time to think about the implementation.

“Going to win that Champions League title, felt much better than three years earlier, although I was injured in the final against Manchester United.

“I couldn't shoot because of the risk of tearing a muscle, but said to myself:” I can't miss this final after that in Paris. “It turned out to be incredible at night, although afterwards I paid the price with different muscle injuries.”
