Andy Robertson brought an emotional tribute to his 'Mate' Diogo Jota – the 'most British foreign player' and 'real' friend that he 'Miss Like Crazy' will be 'Miss Like Crazy', after his tragic death.
The Portuguese died on Thursday next to his brother when his Lamborghini had provoked a tire while catching up another vehicle on the A -52 in Cernadilla near Zamora – only ten miles across the border from Portugal.
The car would have been rolled and broken into flames, with emergency services that cannot save the football duo. Jota's brother, Andre Silva, 26, played for Penaphile of the Portuguese Second Division.
Jota and Silva went to Santander to catch a ferry to Groot -Britain after Diogo was advised not to fly after pulmonary operation, it was reported in his home country.
Robertson and Jota played together for five years in Anfield and forged an incredible connection in a team that achieved enormous success on the field. The shot was also present at Jota's wedding almost two weeks ago when he married his childhood love and the mother of his three children, Rute Cardoso.
The Reds Fullback said that the thought of their pain is 'too much to wear', while he hurt a family that has lost 'two such precious souls'.

'We would look at the arrows together, enjoy the horse races. Going to Cheltenham this season was a highlight – one of the best we had.
'The last time I saw him was the happiest day of his life – his wedding day. I want to be never moving smile from that magical day. How much he burst with love for his wife and family.
“I can't believe we say goodbye. It is too early and it hurts so much. But thank you for being in my life, size – and that you make it better. I love you, Diogo. '
Jota's early death sent shock waves through the football world on Thursday. During the day, back in Liverpool, fans gathered hundreds and to pay their own tribute to the 28-year-old.
Jota played 182 games for Liverpool and was part of the Premier League-title-winning team of last season under Arne Slot.
A group of fans gathered to sing the traditional 'Youl Never Walk Alone' of Liverpool, who aimed at the attacker, while another striking image showed two men – an in a Liverpool -shirt and an Everton shirt – walking with flowers to put them down.
Doctors reportedly advised Jota not to catch a plane after a recent operation, so instead he got a boat back to England. A Brittany Ferries service from Santander to Plymouth left on Thursday at 4 p.m. BST and arrived on Friday at 11.15 am in Devon.
According to Record, Jota and new wife Rute lived the marriage of a friend at this weekend and had celebrated together.
The Lamborghini crash took place on the A-52 in the province of Zamora. The Spanish double roadway is an important route taken by drivers after leaving North Portugal while going to the ports of Santander and Bilbao or driving northeast to France.
Emergency services in the Castilla and Leon region confirmed the crash and two fatalities around 12.35 on Thursday. The death of Diogo and Andre were then confirmed at about 8 hours by the Portuguese football federation.
Wreckage on the spot suggested that the brothers were driving to the UK in a Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder.
