Liverpool has been encouraged to call in better competition for Andy Robertson to help recover scot from a difficult campaign.
The 30-year-old has been far from his best this season, but has largely maintained his place in the starting line-up of Arne Slot. It is nevertheless assumed that Reds Chiefs are considering his future in Anfield.
Robertson enters the last 18 months of his contract and Liverpool could now start drawing up a follow -up plan. But ex-Reds star John Arne Riise believes that Robertson still has what is needed to perform at the highest level.
For the Scotland captain to return to his previous heights, Riise has insisted that a replacement for Kostas Tsimikas should be found. The Greek is currently the most important competition of Robertson, but Riise believes that an upgrade is needed.

While Robertson has come under fire for his performances from some circles this season, Liverpool -Baas Arne Slot remains firmly behind the defender. In November he gave the fault for the struggles of the left back on his lack of a meaningful pre-season.
