Andy Sinton, recovering in hospital after heart attack

Former star of Tottenham and England restores Andy Sinton in the hospital after a heart attack on Friday.

The former club QPR of the 59-year-old, whom he now represents as an ambassador, asked for supporters to wish Sinton the best.

QPR issued a statement stated: 'On Friday evening our club ambassador, Andy Sinton, suffered a heart attack. We are pleased to say that he is now recovering in the hospital. Participate in the good wishes of Sints'.

Sinton was closed 12 times by England between 1991 and 1993 and was part of the Three Lions team in Euro 1992.

He won the League Cup with Tottenham in the 1998-99 season and made 100 performances for the club.

Sinton also played prominently for QPR between 1998 and 1993 before signing for Sheffield on Wednesday.

He later had an enchantment at Wolves and then represented Burton Albion.

Sinton returned to QPR in May 2015 as the club's first club ambassador. His task includes attending games and fan events and working with commercial partners.

In 2016 he helped to create 'Forever RS', the association of the club for former players.
