
Ange Postecoglou has sworn to fight after being booed by Tottenham fans during the 1-0 defeat on his side on Chelsea on Thursday evening.
The decision of Postecoglou to eliminate Lucas Bergvall and Wilson Odobert for Pape Matar Sarr and Brennan Johnson, just after the hour was confronted with the singing of 'You Don't Know what you do' by the traveling supporters.
Five minutes later, SARR found the net of the long distance, led to Postecoglou waving his ear cute and waved at the end in an apparent attempt to shoot back on his critics.
Sarr's goal was then chalked for an error in the structure, and Postecoglou insisted after the game that he had not taken over the fans and just wanted them to be louder.
Thinking about his current relationship with the fan base, Postecoglou claimed on Friday that he remains unaffected by the abuse sent by his way.
“No, it's going well,” he was full. “I am not influenced by that. I will continue to fight my entire career.
'People want me to say something that will change the mood of the fans, but I have never done that. My job is the performance of the team. I understand that they are frustrated and angry. '
Tottenham has been surpassed for long periods at Stamford Bridge while she slipped to their 16th League defeat of the season to stay 14th in the Premier League defect.
This season Spurs still has a chance to win silverware after reaching the Europa League quarter finals, but they have not been able to build any momentum in the competition.
In recent weeks, fans have thought about performances, often angry when players went after the last whistle to acknowledge them.
Postecoglou is adamant to have no problem with fans who focus their frustration on him, but has denied that the struggles of his team are due to a lack of effort from his players.
“I understand the criticism of me, but if someone looked at the players and said they don't try – then I am not sorry that they are not watching the right game,” Postecoglou said.
Spurs will go back on Sunday against Bottom Club Southampton, before he will be opposed to Eintracht Frankfurt in the first stage of their quarterfinals of the Europa League next Thursday.
