Ange Postecoglou doubled his criticism of VAR and revealed that he feels 'disconnected' from the game in the aftermath of Tottenham's denial of an equalizer against Chelsea after a long delay.
Spurs fell on their 16th Premier League defeat of the season on Thursday evening when the header of Enzo Fernandez continued the remarkable series of home results against their rivals in London.
But it was the Australian and his team who were the story of the night, because the loss of known gorges between the club and his fan base unveiled. Postecoglou was in conflict with Spurs -Fans – who chased his decision to replace Lucas Bergvall with Pape Matar Sarr – and then the officials after they have the long distance strike of the Senegalese lime for an error in the structure.
On Friday, the Australian doubled his criticism of the technology that denied his side a moral -reinforcing point and wondered why he is alone in the system slamming.
“Maybe I was influenced by England and the old first division,” he said. “I loved the hectic pace. I could have looked at other divisions, but it was always England, end-to-end stuff, speed and pace, I thought that was great.
'I tried to design a game plan that has pace and energy because I feel that if you want people there, you want from their seats. There was 12 minutes of extra time yesterday, that is not the reason why VAR was brought in.
“I'm the only voice. I don't hear anyone else say. That's why I am sitting here and I say that I might have been broken. When I retire, I will probably watch less football and find a different hobby.
'Var has been here for a long time, it takes six minutes and from day to day I don't know if someone will intervene or not. It seems that everyone is good and that is where loose coupling is for me. '
Postecoglou was involved in an icy interview after the match with Sky Sports and tried to play down for a moment in the second half when he seemed to look at his ear in the direction of the end of Stamford Bridge.
The gesture came in the immediate aftermath of SARR's strike in the 69th minute. Just earlier, Postecoglou Sarr had replaced by mountain barrier and the Spurs fans reacted with angry and hymns from: “You don't know what you are doing.”
Postecoglou seemed in response in a response to the road section and laid his ear.
The Spurs -Baas claimed that it was a mistake to celebrate the goal and quoted previous experiences in Scotland with similar claims that chose a party.
'I made a mistake last night because I had celebrated a goal. Because VAR came in here, there were four or five incidents in Scotland and I thought I was not really going to celebrate goals.
'I just felt that we needed something, kraakende goal of pape [Matar Sarr]I heard that the fans were not happy and I felt the need to celebrate and it could be a real momentum shift to end strong. My mistake was celebrating a goal, Var beat me, I won't do that again. '
