Ange snaps at Sky Sports reporter in ‘generational meltdown’ after Chelsea loss

Ange Postecoglou broke with a Sky Sports reporter in a “generation -meltdown” after the defeat of Tottenham against Chelsea.

The Australian saw Red after the strike of Enzo Fernandez sentenced his side to a different defeat.

Spurs were the second best all over the entire field on Stamford Bridge on Thursday.

And even when Postecoglou, fans fascinated favorites, including Lucas Bergvall in the second half.

Tottenham also saw a strike by Pape Matar Sarr excluded for the earlier fault of the midfielder on Moises Caicedo, which resulted in a yellow card after a long VAR check.

Postecoglou put his ears to trace fans when the goal initially entered after they had hunted SARR's introduction instead of mountain barrier.

While goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario seemed to be silent on full -time.

The result means that Tottenham remains rooted until the 14th in the table, 10 points from the upper half and 18 from fourth place Chelsea.

But Postecoglou could not contain his contempt for the result after full -time.

The Spurs Gaffer spoke with Patrick Davison of Sky Sports, struck the time it took before VAR excludes SARR's goal.

But he also focused on the reporter, who had suggested that VAR actually made the right decision despite the long wait.

Postecoglou said: “Look Pat, you can try to force me in a corner. You are. Did you think a red card last night? Clear and obvious? Yes, okay.

“How many minutes do this referee need to find out that it was clear and clear? In your basic knowledge of vocabulary, clear and obvious, what suggests that for you.

“If you have to look at something a lot, is that clear and obvious?”

Davison replied: “No, it may not be clear and clear [but] I think it was a mistake if I'm honest. “

Postecoglou shot back: “Good, you go there. So the referee didn't see it, he has to see it for six minutes, but he gets the right result, so you're happy. That's why the game goes as it is.

“I think people like you will stay happy, sitting on your banks, waiting six minutes for clear and obvious things. I don't agree, but that's fine.”

Fans quickly responded to the anger of Postecoglou.

One said, “Generational Meltdown.”

Another stated: “Absolutely gold this.”

It was noted: “Clear and obvious tracks are 14th.”

Another added: “Bad luck.”

Later, Postecoglou denied trying to ward off fans after his ear buping after SARR's goal.

He said: “Jesus size, it's incredible how things are being interpreted. We had just scored, I just wanted to hear them cheer.

“Because we had had a hard time and I thought it was a crystal goal. I wanted them to be really enthusiastic.

“At that moment I felt that we could possibly continue and win the game. I just felt that the momentum was on us [side].

“It doesn't bother me, it's not the first time they have stuck my replacements or my decisions, that's fine, that's allowed to do that.”

Postecoglou also continued his pig and added: “It kills the game, but nobody gives it.

“Clearly and obvious means that you go to the screen and have been around for six minutes.

“Not me, because I am very out of it, we will accept it all. It will soon be referred to by AI.

“Like I said, we might as well refrain from the players when a genius comes up with a game without participants at some point. Referees are not referees.

“If someone believes that when VAR was brought in, we would hang around with a microscope for six minutes. It is not relevant if it is a mistake.”
