Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez remained frustrated after he was unable to complete a hat trick in the 4-1 routine of Sunday of real betis.
Conference League finalists Betis were not a party for Athleti, who marked their last LaLiga competition of the season with an emphatic victory.
Alvarez scored in the 10th minute and doubled his count after Robin le Normand had taken Athleti's second.
Pablo Fornals had dragged Betis back in before Alvarez made it 3-1, with Angel Correa further shine in the stopping time.
Alvarez, who is this period of Atleti, was left with 17 goals in LaLiga to regret a great chance of getting his third goal after he hit the pole after a Mazy run.

This season, Alvarez scored 29 goals in 53 performances in all competitions, making him the player to score the most goals in his first season for Atleti since Radamel Falcao in 2011-12 (36 goals in 50 performances).
Atleti ended with no less than 4.86 expected goals of 20 shots, which means that they not only created many opportunities, but also that they were on average of high quality.
It is the highest XG they have managed this season in a single league match.
