Anthony Elanga: Newcastle make second bid worth around £55m for Nottingham Forest winger

Newcastle United has made an improved offer in the £ 55 million region for Anthony Elanga van Nottingham Forest.

Last week Forest rejected an offer from Newcastle for the winger, which Sky Sports News understands, was worth around £ 45 million.

Forest value Elanga for £ 60 million and does not want to sell it.

Elanga is supposed to be intrigued by the Newcastle project, while Eddie Howe sees him as a player who can significantly improve their attack options.

Conversations continue.

The interest of Newcastle in Elanga has long been and he is one of How's top goals. They saw an offer worth a potential £ 50 million rejected on Deadline Day last summer, as revealed by Sky Sports.

Newcastle investigated other options after Forest had saved their first bid for the Sweden International.

These include Johan Bakayoko in PSV, Karim Adeyemi in Borussia Dortmund and Mohammed Kudus in West Ham.
