KSI and Mams Taylor react to wild finish at MF & DAZN: X Series 20

Misfits Boxing president Mams Taylor announced a generous gift to Taylor for his short-notice gamble against Till.

“We knew the weight would be a big advantage for Darren too, but he said, 'No, I can do it, I want this fight' and he got the main event. It's boxing at the end of the day and we see AT again. He needs rest, a holiday. I'm going to give him his own private bonus for stepping up,” said Misfits Boxing president Mams Taylor. in a statement after the fight.

Misfits CEO KSI then gave his reaction to the main event finish.

“We saw him collapse,” KSI said. “A medic rushed in to make sure he was okay, so it was good to see him standing there.”

KSI initially said Taylor would be admitted to a local hospital to “make sure he's 100 percent.” But journalist Ariel Helwani later reported that he was cleared by medical staff at the arena and a hospital visit was not deemed necessary.

Despite the defeat on short notice, Taylor's Misfits Boxing light heavyweight championship was not on the line against Till, and he will be looking ahead to a possible return later this year. He won the then-vacant light-heavyweight title by defeating Kenny Ojuederie in October 2023.
