Antonio Conte sends defiant message as Napoli keep Serie A hopes alive

Former man United midfielder Scott McTominay scored a brace, while Romelu Lukaku also scored to achieve an impressive victory for Titlejacht Napoli.

Conte's side remains at a moving distance from League Inter Milan, sitting in the second, three points of the League leaders with 68.

After the game spoken with the press, Conte believes that they should be grateful that his side keeps the title race alive.

“We are there, three points below. Our goal was to disturb, and we disturbed a team that has proved really strong, not only in Europe. A complete team that is doing really well in Europe.” Conte told Dazn.

“I think someone, the newspapers and the media, should thank Napoli to keep the title race life.

“Otherwise we would talk about a completed season, and there would be fewer conversations in TV programs and fewer newspapers would be sold.”
