Antony opened his relationship with Ruben Amorim after the Manchester United manager had sent him on loan in January.
Antony, 25, was read on the Spanish side in the winter window after he did not realize his mega 86 million price tag at Old Trafford.
The Brazilian has returned to its form of old in Spain and records eight target contributions in 16 performances for Betis.
It is a huge improvement compared to his figures in United, where he scored only one competition goal with the Red Devils in the last two seasons.
Now the former Ajax wing player has explained that he has no bad blood with Amorim for sending him, instead he compliments the Portuguese manager for the small time they have spent working together.
He said to ESPN Brazil: “I've only had a short time [Amorim]But he is a very good coach. A very intelligent coach.
“United is currently going through a difficult time, but he is a good coach.
“I had a good relationship with him, but I needed a new challenge and I wish him all the happiness in the world in this last part of the season.”
Antony gave a similar glowing assessment by Erik ten Hag, who signed him for United in 2022 and managed him at Ajax during his time.
He added: “Erik ten Hag is a coach for whom I am very grateful.
“He helped me a lot in the Netherlands, and also in England, although the opportunities did not come as I wanted.
“But that is the coach's choice, I don't have a resort or something. On the contrary, I am very grateful for everything he has done with me, for all conversations too.
“He is a coach who will certainly be in this story because he helped me a lot.”
Antony clearly enjoys his time at Betis and Betis CEO Ramon Alarcon recently claimed that the star wants to expand his stay in the Villamarin stage.
While United Baas Amorim has suggested that the Revival of Antony might be due to the less physical style of Spanish football.
Speaking with TNT Sports, he said: “If you play against a team in England, the physicality is there. If you don't have any physicality, you will struggle a lot.
“Antony is now so much better in Spain. Are [because of] Many factors, but I guarantee that it is physicality. “
