Antony has offered a new hint about his future after he had thrive at Real Betis after his move in January.
The move from the Brazilian attacker to Manchester United in 2022 was far from successful after the club had speckled £ 86 million to take him from Ajax to Old Trafford.
Although he received a lot of attention and promise after his rise at the Dutch giants, he struggled to adapt to the Premier League, with the current boss Ruben Amorim attributed to physicality.
During the two and a half years at United so far, he has only managed 12 goals and five assists in 96 games in all competitions in a disappointing return.
Yet he came to life in southern Spain since he came to Betis, almost half of the target contributions he has built in a united shirt.
However, the player has insisted that he will always be grateful to the club for showing trust in him and brought him to the Premier League, but shed through that his mind has been firmly set to Real Betis.
The Brazilian said to Dazn: 'If they pay for that kind of money for you, it is because you have talent and quality. Wherever I go, I will always speak a lot about United.
'I am very grateful to the club and for Erik ten Hag for what we have experienced together, for the titles and for everything I have learned. I had difficult times there, but also very good. I think it has prepared me to be here today, enjoy myself. My mind is here, and I am very happy. '
He added: 'I found myself, I had to find myself and be happy. I also needed my family to be happy. Every day that passes, I see that it was the best decision I could have made. I enjoy the city, the club and such.
'It reminds me a lot of Brazil because of the sun, the food, the people are also very happy. That is all important for someone like me who is used to it. '
Although he had emerged as one of the most exciting attacking talents while he was at Ajax, things simply never seemed to get off the ground at United.
He often came in for criticism from experts and fans before he went on loan, although it was apparently the right decision to help him regain some trust.
But why he had not succeeded at United so far is a point of debate, although Amorim has his own theories.
