Antony subject of interest from Saudi Pro League sides with Real Betis move

Two of the top clubs of the Saudi Pro League are supposed to be interested in signing Antony van Manchester United.

A switch to Real Betis – where he loaned last season – looks unrealistic in this phase of the window and the winger wants to take his time to choose his next move.

A number of other clubs from all over Europe, including Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich, have followed his situation.

The priority of Bayern, however, is a left -wing wing player instead of a right winger, and Leverkusen -Baas Erik ten Hag – who signed a £ 86 million deal for United in 2022 – was quoted in Germany and says: “We are not interested at the moment”.

Ten Hag also stated: “We will see what will happen in the future”, what can be an indication of the financial parameters set by United to buy it.

Antony flourished at Betis, but they cannot afford a permanent deal if things stand out and hope for the chance of discussing another loan.

The winger scored nine goals and made five more for teammates in 26 performances.

United prefers a permanent sale, but bids still have to materialize and only Leverkusen and Betis are supposed to have contacted them so far.

It is thought that the interest from Saudi Arabia is increasing and Antony is perhaps open to exploring the idea, although he would rather stay in Europe.
