Antony suffers fresh transfer rejection as Real Betis hopes fade

Antony has been told that one of his transfer -freeders will not do a summer offer next month on Manchester United.

The former Ajax playmaker remains at a crossroads with United Baas Ruben Amorim and openly confirms that he has no place in Old Trafford.

Manuel Pellegrini still wants to facilitate a return to real betis, but an outright offer for Antony is considered too expensive.

The Brazilian international impressed United loan at the beginning of 2025 when the 25-year-old nine goals scored at Real Betis.

United remains determined to sell it this summer while Amorim wants to lower his wage account.

United is confident to bring a great fee for the former Ajax wing player with Atletico Madrid and Juventus who marked earlier interest, if Real Betis was unable to close a deal.

The former Red Devil's Boss Erik ten Hag was reportedly enthusiastic about a possible reunion at Bayer Leverkusen, but the Dutch coach has now confirmed that this will not happen.

“Antony has a lot of quality. I have signed it twice, he was like a son for me and that is still. We are not interested in him at the moment, but we will see what will happen in the future.”

Although the path has become silent since the beginning of July, both United and Real Betis are still working to agree a possible return to Andalucia.

United can be open to another loan, but with the warranty of a purchase clause for 2026, and that can taster the balance.

The Premier League side can also insert a sale clause, if Antony continues to excel in the Estadio Benito Villamarin or retain part of his rights and retain to Spain in August.
