Real Betis have signed Manchester United winger Antony on loan for the remainder of the season, subject to international clearance.
Antony joins Betis on an outright loan deal, with the Seville side having no option to buy.
A statement from Manchester United said: “Everyone at United would like to wish Antony the best of luck during his time in Seville.”
Betis are managed by former Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini and are still involved in the UEFA Conference League this season.
United played Betis in the United States in July as part of their pre-season tour, with Antony making a second-half appearance in a 3–2 win for his parent club.
Antony joined United from Ajax in September 2022 to work under his former boss Erik ten Hag for a fee of £86 million, making him the second most expensive signing in the club's history.
But the 24-year-old has failed to justify his price tag, scoring 12 goals in 96 appearances.
Antony has scored just one Premier League goal since April 2023 and his starts have fallen from 23 in the Premier League in his first year to 15 last season and none during the current campaign.
The winger has featured in just 13 of United's 32 games in all competitions this season.
United want Antony to play regularly in the first team before reassessing his future in the summer.
Antony scored 25 goals in 82 club games for Ajax under Ten Hag.
