Antony’s agent offers Real Betis transfer update

Antony has enjoyed an excellent start to La Liga Life after he got on loan at Real Betis until the end of the season.

He was called MVP during his debut against Athletic Club, before scored the first goal in a 3-2 defeat against Celta Vigo on 8 February.

That was supported with a goal on his European arch in the club when Los Verdiblancos won 3-0 in the midweek at Ghent.

The International Brazil looks a different player than the one who struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford and his next step has come to focus sharply.

Real Betis CEO Ramon Alarcon stated that there could be a chance for Antony to stay in the club next season, according to Radio Sevilla (via MD).

“The United CEO recently called me, we sent them all the videos and details of the player of the entire week, so that they can see that we take care of their possession. There is a very good chemistry with United and the player. It is a possibility that he will continue next season, why not? “

Despite Alarcon's optimism about maintaining the former Ajax Vooruit, that sentiment does not seem to be reflected in Manchester at this stage.

The 24-year-old seems to have no place in Ruben Amorim's plans at Old Trafford, but his agent Pedroso confirmed that there is no purchase clause in the real Betis loan agreement, and he is still firmly on the books at United.

“There is no purchase option at Real Betis and he respects Amorim a lot … His future at Man United remains an open story,” he told an interview with Fabrizio Romano.

United will speak with Antony when he returns to Manchester in June, and the door is not closed on another loan, but real betis is unable to persuade their asking price of € 35 million.
