Arda Guler identifies preferred destination amid possible Real Madrid summer exit

Arda Guler had a very underwhelming time in Real Madrid, and this summer he could be set to leave the club on loan or permanent. Although it had not been available this season, and with several attacking players who have had injuries and form misery, the Turkish playmaker was not counted by head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Guler has made 30 performances this season, but the vast majority of them came as a replacement. In the last nine games of Real Madrid in all matches, he only played twice, with one of them being a start against Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey, and the other is a 30 -minute La Liga Cameo against Real Betis.

It is clear that Guler is not particularly counted by Ancelotti at this stage, and therefore there have been suggestions that he will leave Real Madrid in the summer, probably on loan – although a permanent transfer cannot be excluded. If that happened, he would have a preferential destination in mind.

According to Fussal.news (via Sport), Guler is willing to make a switch to Serie A during the summer transfer window, despite concrete interest in his services by RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen. It is believed that his decision is being weighed heavily by the success that fellow countryman Kenan Yildiz has had with Juventus for the past 12-18 months.

In Italy, the will of AC Milan and Inter Milan both said they are interested in Guler, and at this stage they seem to be favorites to land the young person when he finally leaves in the summer. Real Madrid is not against a permanent transfer at this stage, although they would like to keep some control in his future, which would mean that a purchasing back clause is implemented in a deal.
