Arne Slot shows his class as he leads Anfield in chant about Jurgen Klopp after sealing 20th title for Liverpool

Arne Slot has paid tribute to ex-liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp with a cup of Singalong after winning the Premier League.

The Reds have completed a first title since 2020 with a thumping 5-1 win over Tottenham on Sunday.

Slot cut a relaxed figure all afternoon while his team stormed back from behind against unfortunate traces.

And he led an emotional representation of a Klopp Chant while he celebrated in a raw Anfield.

The Dutchman took the microphone to address fans after he had protected the title with four more games.

It is the first time since 1990 that fans are in Anfield to celebrate a title of top flight.

Klopp left his role as Liverpool -Baas last summer.

And he had begged fans to welcome his replacement lock by leading a singing with fans after a last day victory against Wolves last May.

Slot paid back on Sunday and sang the microphone: “Jurgen Klopp, La La La.”

The singing – for life is life by Opus – was immediately bent back by all four sides of Anfield.

A fan wrote in response to the images on X: “This is the real heritage.”

Another said: “This is for you Jurgen, we will never be able to thank you enough for what you have done for us.”

While a third added: “Has anyone cut onions?”

A fourth said, “I am actually bursting into tears what a football club.”

And a fifth said, “The best full -circle moment ever.”

Liverpool has demolished traces thanks to goals from Mo Salah, Alexis Mac Allister, Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo.

Fans and players celebrated after the last whistle, where Salah takes on Selfies.

An emotional lock said to Sky Sports: “It's hard to put into words.

“The scenes here and before the game tells you more than I can describe.

“[The fans being here] Is what makes it special. Three or four years ago they won the competition.

“It was a great achievement, but the fans were not there.

“So you can feel how important it was for them to be here. And the boys have done an excellent job today, including our fans.”
