Arne Slot’s incredible Liverpool XI with four new signings and revamped defence

Liverpool is ready to splash some serious money to strengthen their title-winning team prior to the 2025-26 campaign with Arne Slot Set to have a large number of new faces at his disposal for the new season

For Arne Slot it was almost the dream girl in Liverpool. But the Dutchman and Anfield's top brass do not rest on their laurels after they have unexpectedly calved on Premier League Glory.

After a quiet summer transfer window last year, the Reds came into action prior to the 2025-26 campaign: Jeremie Frimpong is already in the door with his Bayer Leverkusen teammate, Florian Wirtz, also about to complete a blockbuster switch for a British record transfer.

But the expenses are not expected to stop there with further deals in the pipeline with the potential for even more to follow.

Van Milos Kerkez is expected to sign Liverpool the third summer with the progress that is made on a deal that would see the Hungary International joining Bournemouth. And Marc Guehi, the captain of Crystal Palace, is interesting to replace Jarell Quansah when he completes a switch to Bayer Leverkusen.

With that in mind, Liverpool was able to stand in line next season with a new look defense while offering to defend their domestic crown.

In the goal, Alisson will probably start the campaign as number 1. But he has a new competition for the sweater in Giorgi Mhaldashvili, who is ready to join the Reds after he has agreed to become a member of Valencia last summer.

Kerkez and Frimpong give Slot new weapons to use in the full-back areas. Both are also able to play further forward, giving Slot the scope to change shape and play with wing backs if desired.

That could lead to a back three with Guehi next to Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate, who is expected to start the season as the first approach combination of Liverpool.

But Guehi will be sure that monopoly rather than breaks out later, but after a fantastic season for Crystal Palace and there is every chance that he could come straight if Liverpool pays a premium prize for the English star and decides to stay four with a flat back.

In midfield, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch can sit and give Wirtz the freedom to pull the strings on the field after his record -breaking movement of Bayer Leverkusen.

Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz hope to take advantage of the arrival of Wirtz, where the first of his best season ever enjoys.

In the front, it is unlikely that Darwin Nunez will lead the line with an exclusion in the summer. Liverpool will replace him, although it is still too viewed with who, so that can open the door for Diogo Jota to start the season as no.9 of the Reds.

Potential Liverpool XI (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Frimpong, Guehi, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Wirtz; Salah, Diaz, Jota.
