Arsenal returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday.
The men of Mikel Arteta started clearly and came close to Leandro Trossard and the opportunities of Declan Rice. The impasse was eventually broken by Mikel Merino, whose luskop by Martin Odegaard's Cross Robert Sanchez in the Chelsea -Netnet.
Both parties struggled to create clear opportunities in the second half and eventually Arsenal ended their three-match Winless Run in the competition.
The Gunners are now 12 points behind leaders Liverpool, while Chelsea remains fourth. But which Gunners star was a constant threat? Whose end product abandoned him? And who was liability every time he had the ball?
Isaan Khan van Mail Sport was at the Emirates Stadium to judge the players.
Arsenal (4-3-3)
David Raya: 6
Some good deliveries forward, but had a huge decline in 37 minutes, so that the volley shot of Marc Cucurella was spilled that dripped only centimeters wide from the goal.
Jurrien Timber: 7.5
The pressure exerted on that left flank and threatened with accurate crosses to the area.
William Saliba: 6.5
Positioning was good. Had to be against a few Pacier players from Chelsea, such as Neto.
Gabriel: 6.5
Towards Enzo Fernandez in a physical struggle. A real presence in the back.
Myles Lewis-Skelly: 6.5
A typical insured display only a few days after earning his debut England call-up. Had Jadon Sancho under full control.
Martin Odegaard: 6.5
Energetic as usual and would like to step the ball, but would have hoped for a better end product. His corner resulted in the goal of Mikel Merino.
Declan Rice: 7
A solid all -round display. Had a few shots with the goal that were close; His low strike at 13 minutes was very close.
Thomas Partey: 6.5
Continued to look to get ahead. Alert kept on his defensive tasks when Arsenal did not have the ball.
Gabriel Martinelli: 7
Looked a big threat in his sprints over both flanks. A promising sign for the Gunners at his first start since last month sustained a hamstring injury.
Mikel Merino: 8
To his new pointed role good. Scored from the corner of Odegaard, the ball went from the back of his head. A good header. Had stored a well -executed volley at 60 minutes.
Leandro Trossard: 6
Occasionally his dribbling skills showed in tight areas. Would like to be a threat around the box, a few of his shots went wide.
Manager – Mikel Arteta: 6.5
Bounced back from three consecutive Premier League matches without a victory.
Chelsea (4-2-3-1)
Robert Sanchez: 4.5
Liability seemed like the ball into the box every time the ball constantly claps. The ball donated to Martinelli in nine minutes, who could not benefit. Although it has drawn a world -class savings to refuse Merino at 60 minutes.
Wesley Fofana: 5
A number of results. On another day he could have been fired. Fortunately to get away with his stamp on rice.
Benoit Badiashile: 5
Continued to find itself from position that exploited the frontline of the opposition.
Levi Colwill: 5.5
It found it difficult in a Chelsea defense that extended time and time again.
Marc Cucurella: 6.5
Showed a fighting spirit for his side. Also saw a threat in advanced positions along the left flank. His volleyed shot almost past Raya.
Reece James: 5.5
Had to adapt to a midfield position because of the Domino effect caused by the absence of Cole Palmer.
Moises Caicedo: 6
Many mistakes but continued to fight, even when his side struggled.
Jadon Sancho: 5.5
Struggled to pass Lewis-Skelly. Not presented the threat that Chelsea needed on the wings.
Enzo Fernandez: 6
Showed a lot of courage and got stuck well. Led by example and almost came to the goal by bringing Bulldoz.
Christopher Nunku: 5
Did not show enough intensity. Little created and not much movement to stretch the opposition.
Pedro Neto: 6.5
The most threatening player of Chelsea across the field. Walked with pure desire and through the canals in the hope of getting service.
Manager – Enzo Maresca: 5.5
His Chelsea team looked incoherent and lost.
