Match report
With Ebereechi Eze presented to the Emirates Stadium -Mixte and Colleague Gyokeres who was used in a comfortable victory, it was largely a holiday for Arsenal fans.
But Kapitein Odegaard was replaced before he took care of the rest of his right shoulder, and Saka pulled early in the second half, shortly after Gyoke's first goal, so there was reason for Mikel Arteta.
Arsenal has already lost Kai Havertz this week on injuries, because three important men who missed it were possible with further spells on the sidelines last season.
Saka had previously scored the second of Arsenal and contributed to a more open Jurrien Timber, who was on goal again for the fourth. Number five came thanks to a final Gyokeres-Penalty Gyokeres Penalty Won by the 15-year-old Debutant Max Dowman.
With champions Liverpool next to the Gunners – who joined Tottenham at the top of the table while Leeds slipped in the bottom half – Arteta hopes for positive news about his wounded stars.
Data Debrief: Debutant Dowman supplies
The two arsenal injuries ensured that this was an evening of mixed emotions at the Emirates Stadium, but there was plenty to cheer when Eze arrived, Gyokeres scored and, perhaps the most exciting, seemed Dowman.
He became the second-year-old player in the Premier League history and shared the field with the youngest. Ethan Nwaneri was 54 days younger than Dowman when he made his debut in 2022.
Nwaneri, Op voor Odegaard, is still finding his feet in the first team, but Dowman made an immediate impact, tried two shots, three dribbles, won five of his seven duels and eventually earns the stop-time penalty for Gyokeres.
15 – Arsenal's Max Dowman (15Y 235D) is only the third player who appears in a Premier League match before he turns 16 years old after teammate Ethan Nwaneri v Brentford in September 2022 (15y 181d) and Jeremy Monga for Leicester City v Newcastle United in April (15y 271).
