Real Madrid will almost certainly look to sign at least one centre-back in 2025, but with David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger both over the age of 30, it's entirely possible that an additional player could also be brought in – more specifically a younger option like Vitor Reis, who have already been linked in recent months.
Reis is the latest highly-rated Brazilian teenager that Real Madrid have shown an interest in, although signing him from Palmeiras would not be easy. According to Florian Plettenburg, both Arsenal and Chelsea are in the race for the 18-year-old talent, which is likely to be very expensive.
Real Madrid may no longer view the signing of Reis as necessary given the emergence of Raul Asencio, while they also have the likes of Joan Martinez and Jacobo Ramon on their books, and both are heavily favored in the first-team setup. Nevertheless, he would still be a useful player now and in the future.
