Lyon has hit a price tag of € 60 million (£ 51.5 million) on the head of Malick Fofana in the aftermath of interest of a number of Premier League clubs in the talented wing player.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool are supposed to be on the market this summer for attacking reinforcements, whereby the first is actively looking for a quality that has been brought forward to add further depth to their front line after repeating the title again.
Fofana, 20, has won itself a whole series of admirers throughout Europe after a great breakthrough campaign for Lyon, whose financial problems have been well documented in recent weeks.
And it has now been claimed that Lyon would demand at least £ 51.5 million to cash in the highly sought after Belgium International.

Although Lyon wants to demand money at the top level for a talented player who scored 11 goals in the previous term in 41 games, their current situation could influence the procedure.
They have been relegated from Ligue 1 and although they are expected to appeal against the decision, they would lose their top status – and their place in next season's Europa League – probably lead to further financial problems that rival clubs could see that bid to take advantage of their condition.

Earlier this week it appeared that there was a strong interest from Fofana in the Premier League with reports in Europe that claimed that Nottingham Forest had agreed a deal with Lyon for the services of the player.
However, this has been triggered since then, where Footmercato claims that the player is still 'a long way' to join forest. Van Chelsea is known that it has previously made an approach for Fofana.
Lyon signed Fofana for only € 19.5 million (£ 16.6 million) of Ghent in January 2024. He was contracted until the summer of 2028, which means that Lyon would not be under pressure to sell if it was not for the circumstances concerning their relegation of the top competition of France.
