MANCHESTER United have been fined £75,000 following their FA Cup win at Arsenal.
But Wembley brawlers could also charge BOTH clubs for the melee that followed the Gunners' controversial second-half penalty.
United survived almost an hour of normal and extra time with 10 men after Diogo Dalot was sent off for a second yellow card.
Lisandro Martinez, Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire – for his indignant reaction to Kai Havertz's role in the penalty – were also warned by referee Andy Madley, as well as a member of United's coaching staff.
Fines are automatically issued if a club draws six or more cards during a game, with the amount increasing each time.
United were fined £25,000 for breaching the threshold in the 3-0 home defeat to Spurs, doubled to £50,000 for a repeat offense in the Old Trafford draw against Chelsea.
And on the third occurrence the fine will increase to £75,000, taking the total so far this season to £150,000.
Meanwhile, FA Beaks will await Madley's report before deciding whether to charge both clubs for “failing to control players” in the mauling caused by the penalty.
Maguire appeared to call Havertz a “cheat” after his crash was ruled a foul by Madley.
There were a series of physical clashes on the edge of the penalty area and with no VAR active, Madley and his fellow officials were given no help in determining what was going on. Once calm was restored, Altay Bayindir saved Martin Odegaard's effort.
But it is likely that the FA will review the footage and bring charges against both clubs, which is likely to result in significant additional fines.
Man Utd's social media account claimed 'justice' was being served full-time.
Commenting on the first penalty incident, Ruben Amorim said: “The players told me it was not a penalty, but let's move on.
'We are more resilient, more aggressive.
“We have shown a different spirit. We are improving that aspect.
“The players were very tired, but today was our day. I felt a connection with the fans.”
