Arsenal weighs a summer movement for Roma defender Evan Ndicka but is confronted
Arsenal and PSG were able to fight this summer with both clubs that love Roma defender Evan Ndicka. The Ivorian has continued to excel in the Italian capital and has always made himself an present as his list of admirers grows.
Ndicka played every minute this season for Roma A in the Serie A, but talking about his exit is being performed. The 25-year-old moved to the Stadio Olympico on a free transfer by Frankfurt in 2023 and now Arsenal regards him this summer as a defensive option.
However, they will be confronted with competition from Newcastle, but with the Italian outlet La Gazzetta Dello Sport who claims that the Magpies have also monitored the player. In addition to the Premier League duo PSG, Ndicka also loves Ndicka, who could cost everything between £ 25-34 million.
The Roma defender was born in Paris and started his career in one of the clubs of the city before Auxerre landed him as a teenager. PSG has previously missed a number of players who were born in the French capital and had to spend a lot to lure them back.
However, it has been reported that the Noord -Londers have held initial discussions to see if Ndicka could be on the market because they want to strengthen their defending ranks.
The Roma star kept his options open when he was interviewed in his next step with a few years to walk to his deal. He recently said to L'Equipe: “I don't pretend I don't see the rumors. But I have respect in Rome and I respect them. I have three years old about my contract, we will see what happens later.”
Arsenal wants to ensure that they have sufficient coverage behind William Saliba and Gabriel, which is currently sidelined by injury. The Gunners have used Jakub Kiwior in the middle of half, but want quality coverage in the future.
In the meantime, PSG can look to bring more quality alongside Marquinhos, who is the skipper and defending leader of the team. The Brazilian center itself was signed from Roma more than ten years ago and has become one of the biggest players in the club ever.
They could still go on the market with the tag of European champions who have taken control of their semi -final against Arsenal. They insured a 1-0 with the Emirates after Ousmane Dembele struck early and supported herself to complete the job next week in the Parc des Princes.
